A native of Newport News, VA, Sterling Bailey, Jr. is a leader that aspires to inspire others. In his growing career thus far, Sterling’s passion for transformation inspires him to walk in his calling as speaker. This profound individual lives by the example of Joshua 1:9 and encourages others to do so as well.

 

Being a Proud Alumni of Heritage High School, it was no secret the impact Sterling had on others. 1 year ago, WAVY News Channel 10 captured Bailey’s heartfelt speech on Heritage’s unfortunate school incident that spoke volumes of his dedication to his calling and the impact he has on the community. Bailey is continuing to make a bigger impact on the city of Newport News and abroad. 

 

Sterling is furthering his education as a Business Finance Major at Norfolk State University and is a proud recipient of the prestigious full 4-year VCAN Scholarship.  Bailey also serves as NSU’s 2022-2023 Mister Freshman, The City of Norfolk’s Ward 4 Student Campus Representative, NSU’s Finance and Administration Intern, and serves in the NSU Chapter NAACP Political Action Committee. 

 

In addition to his contributions in the field of speaking and being a full-time student. Sterling continues to be a devoted member of Refuge Nations Church under the leadership of Bishop Joe Baker.
